This Easter will be different for all of us. We won’t be going to church service, we won’t be hiding Easter eggs, and we won’t be gathering with our families sharing our family dinner.
What we can be doing is thanking God that we are safe, that even though we are apart, we still have each other. We can praise God that we are healthy, considering all the sickness in the world today. We can be grateful we are alive as many people have sadly passed from the virus. Yes, we are still ordered to stay in place, but thank God we have a home! Start today and try not to dwell on what we aren’t doing with our families and learn to be grateful for what we do have. We still hold onto hope, we still have prayer, we have what we need, we have this day and we keep our faith in God that things will get better soon. Amen
