Good Morning, my friends. It’s Holy Tuesday! I pray you have a positive day filled with happy moments, kindness and love.
Monday through Wednesday of Holy Week are the days less talked about, but what happens on each of those days is all part of God’s plan for His Son, Jesus, to ultimately be crucified and resurrected.
Our Holy Week is very different this year. We are staying at home, unable to go to our places of worship and celebrate Holy Week. The Coronavirus has changed everything about our daily lives.
But just because we are at home, it doesn’t mean we can’t praise God and thank Him for sending His son to us to live, to die and to be resurrected.
Most Americans are complying with stay at home orders. Millions have lost jobs. Schools have closed for the year. And many people are feeling overwhelmed, scared and hopeless.
And times like these attack our faith. We start to question God, we worry, we have anxiety and, yes, we get angry. Angry that this is happening to us.
But on Tuesday before Jesus was crucified and resurrected, Jesus told His Disciples to have faith and pray. And He said that if they would believe, they would receive whatever they asked for in prayer. ~Matthew 21:21-22.
With this hug, I am sending you encouragement to keep the faith. No matter what, don’t give up, keep praying and keep believing. I wanted to pray s short, simple prayer to increase our faith.
Dear God, Please bless our Holy Tuesday. We thank You for sending Your Son to live, die and be resurrected. We don’t know where we’d be without Jesus.
These times are trying, Lord, but we know You are here with us and we know You are in control. We pray for increased faith.
Remove our doubts, our worries and our anxieties and help us to place all our trust in You. Give us a peace that surpasses all understanding. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
As you go through your Holy Tuesday today, remember this big, caring hug. Holy Tuesday Hugs!
Sending you blessings of love and gratitude from Sterrett, Alabama!
